We welcome all who share our interest in the mutual interdependence of humans and their physical and social environments. We welcome your interest and participation in our activities and projects as a student, professor, volunteer, organizer, or intersted person.

We also welcome financial contributions to our effort. Faculty participants in HDES volunteer their time and expertise. Thus over 90% of HDES funding is used to support the student HDES Scholars and their work, making HDES one of the most cost effective investments in education that you can make to the University of Illinois.
